Easy Install
If your door frames are steel*, there’s nothing to install: our innovative magnetic construction allows the doors to snap into place. They’ll break away when minimum pressure is applied, eliminating any ligature points.
Kennon Door 2.0 is perfect for bathroom and shower installations.
* For non-steel frame doors, we offer flush-mount steel attachment plates.
Certified
Kennon makes both Door 2.0 and our Original SSPD in the USA. Both doors are rated ASTM E84 Class A for fire safety. Door 2.0 is also NFPA-286 Certified, and a version of the door has also been recommended in the New York State Office of Mental Health 2023 Patient Safety Standards Guidelines.
